ABOUT ME
I’m Shannon. I live here in Nelson with my wife and 2 daughters. I love all things about fishing. I get out as often as I can. I also enjoy family camping trips and playing squash. When I’m not busy with the family I work at VTNZ as a DTO (driving testing officer). I have been there for 6 years and have conducted over 12000+ driving tests. I have the knowledge and the skill set to help you not only pass your driving test but give you the skill to be a safe driver.

I offer professional driving lessons in Nelson for learner drivers, restricted licence, full licence, and overseas licence conversions. Lessons are tailored to your experience level and NZTA requirements, helping you build confidence and pass your test safely.
You can choose to learn in your own vehicle or use my Suzuki swift.
All vehicles used for lessons must have a current Warrant of Fitness and registration, ensuring a safe and legal learning environment at all times.

• Using your car:
1 hour lesson – $85
3 lessons – $240
• Using my car:
1 hour lesson – $90
3 lessons – $270

CONFLICT OF INTEREST
CONFLICT OF INTEREST Statement:
During my usual workday, my job is to take applicants on their driving tests as a Driver Testing Officer (DTO) in Nelson. I will continue with this role, in addition to being available as an independent Driving Instructor at any time after hours, but preferably at weekends, mornings, evenings

​For disclosure purposes and to avoid any conflict of interest with my current employment, please note I can either TEACH you or TEST you, but I cannot do both for the same person.
This ensures the testing regime is completely above-board and 100% independent and separate to any teaching received from me as an instructor.
